Socrative lets teachers engage and assess their students with educational activities on tablets, laptops and smartphones.

TED-Ed provides video in all disciplines and allows you to create customized lessons. You can use, tweak, or completely redo any lesson featured on TED-Ed. It is a great first step into the flipped classroom.

Teaching Channel is a multi-platform service delivering videos for teachers on professional learning. In addition to showcasing inspiring teachers in videos, Teaching Channel also hosts a community for educators to share ideas, best practices and enhance their knowledge.

Edpuzzle allows teachers to edit youtube videos, add questions, and overide narration of a video.

Crash Course is an educational youtube channel created by John and Hank Green with series in history, biology, ecology, chemistry, literature, natural history and psychology.
Grades 6-12
SciShow discusses science news and history and concepts. With equal parts skepticism and enthusiasm, we go a little deeper...without going off the deep end.
